This season has been rife with incredible defensive plays, but I doubt we are undefeated and playing for a national championship without the following three:
(1) Tyran's forced fumble and subsequent TD against Oregon on the first half punt. That entirely changed the momentum of the game;
(2) Mo's interception against Bama, which set up a tying field goal;
(3) Reid's goal line interception against the Tide. Epic.

My favorite play not already mentioned was Mingo running down LaMichael James in the OU backfield. It looked like National Geographic hour: "observe the tiger chase down the wounded gazelle".

Kinda surprised this isn't mentioned more. I think the Reid play is the play of the year and TM7's plays are amazing and flashy, but this interception along with the one against Miss State and Arkansas are some of the best ball skills that I've ever seen. It's impossible to know for sure, but the plays are so similar that I think he is confident enough in his closing speed and ball skills that he is baiting the QB's into making throws. It's a beautiful thing to watch.
