Does anybody know if LSU is recruiting him? R Randle just tweeted something about you know your school is big time when Ken Griffey Jr. flies himself out to visit. I can't think of any other reason KGJ would be at LSU

No offer listed on Rivals or any interest, but that doesn't mean a whole lot.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Baton Rouge will benefit from Saturday’s second-annual Marucci Live, a gala set for the Baton Rouge River Center that will feature 19-time All- Star and Hall of Fame shortstop Cal Ripkin Jr. and as many as 20 more major leaguers and former LSU players.
Marucci is a bat company started by LSU trainer Jack Marucci.
Marucci CEO Reed Dickens said Marucci Live is designed to honor the baseball players “for their achievements both on and off the field,” to raise money for the local Boys & Girls Clubs and to “highlight baseball moments and milestones of 2011.”
Among the top major leaguers confirmed to attend are Baton Rougean Chad Durbin, former Seattle and Cincinnati All-Star outfielder Ken Griffey Jr., Harold Reynolds, Jose Cruz Jr., Geoff Jenkins, Ryan Vogelsong, Lake Charles’ Casey Daigle and his wife star softball player Jennie Finch and Lafayette’s Paul Bako.
