When coaching change rumors involving Saban stop appearing within a week (before or after) the IB, I'll start taking them seriously.

I do agree that Saban seems to enjoy taking programs from rags to riches, and that he's undoubtedly tired of the Bama media holding him accountable for sneezing, but you can't argue that the man doesn't love his money. Bama will keep dumping it on his front porch as long as he keeps winning 10-12 games a year and one of them is against AU.

With Nick is about rank as much as it is about amount. If being the top paid football coach meant only $250,000 he'd be happy. Sure he'll take the money bama throws at him, but if it's just as much about rank as it is the actual amount.

FIFY.

Seriously, if he never wanted to leave MSU then he did a hell of a job convincing your former AD and President in his interview (and Nick AIN'T an actor). After the way his departure from the 'Fins was perceived, there is NO way he would be able to survive a departure from Alabama after this season with ANY credibility. And the last thing PSU needs is that, because they are as low as any program in NCAA history is right now.
