When LSU beats Bama again, who becomes #2, does Bama stay

there, cause all the talking heads say these 2 are clearly "head and shoulders" above the rest of college football? Using this logic, do they get their 3rd opprutunity, to be rated #2, since they "deserve the right", and they are so much better than the rest of the group? When does it stop?

Final BCS poll is this weekend.
But it kinda makes sense that the team who finishes second in the Championship game is second.

that's my point.. if they are so superior to all other teams, and the number 1 team beats them x many times, do they still get a pass in the "final-final" rankings, since they are still so much better than the rest?

Everything that I gather is that if Okie State puts a "whippin" on OU this weekend, they will have a good shot of moving to #2. The Iowa State loss may be attributed to that was the same day of the news of the plane crash with the BB coaches. Also, that game was lost in OT.But to the "eye", I think everyone is in agreement that the two best teams in CB this year BY FAR are LSU and Alabama!....I don't care who we play, just want to end up 14-0!!

They remain #2, because for the 2nd time, the better team loses. Also, the NCAA will determine the time is right for the +1 formula and we get to beat Alabama for the 3rd time and again they remain #2, because the better team lost.
The problem with us LSU fans is this --- It is all part of "the process". That is why Nick left, we could not understand "the process". But then again, "the process" is "relative to" well...."the process".

Depends, if we beat them bad they stay number 2. If we just beat them by a few points the move to number 1.

you know, the real sad part of this is, nobody knows the answer, imo... it bothers me that LSU could beat them twice and they could still end up number 2, in a final-final rank..
btw,, i do think that they are the 2nd best team in the nation,,, BUT, how many chances do they get to stay at 2? Oh well, 14-0 is the important part..
