My boys have a Friday night playoff game that will have us in Shreveport for the Tigers/Piggies, hoping there is a decent place a group of us can watch the game and get some food and adult beverages. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

1. BWW
2. TGIF if BWW is too full

Both are on youree drive and have good drinks... i suggest an Iceberg at BWW... It is a landshark beer on the bottom with a margarita on top! Actually a good combo and keeps your beer nice and cold!

Eta: superior grill on line ave will also have the game, along with their $14 margaritas

I know a big group of the parents are going there-do they have a good many TV's? I wouldn't think of going to the one here for a game, like I would say a BWW. What about any of the casinos-I thought one of them might have a sports bar?

You can certainly watch the game at superior, I have watched a few there... They dont have as many tvs as BWW, but it's sufficient... As far as casinos go, u might want to try "8oz burger bar" in the horseshoe, i havent actually eaten there, so i cant tell u much about the food, but passing by, i noticed it looked like a good place to watch games... Its relatively new and u can make reservations... Here are details: Reservations: 318-741-7908
Cuisine: Bar and Grill
Hours: 24 hours: Daily
Cost: $$$

8oz strives to bring you the best quality food and beverage at an affordable price, in a friendly, relaxed environment.  Beyond our burgers lies an array of menu selections that will be sure to please every palate. Come in and enjoy our Bar with a wide selection of beverages or have a seat at one of tables or booths and enjoy an excellent dining experience.

This might have been cute at one time but now it just makes you look childish and ignorant by repeating it.

A BWW in Shreveport or on the boardwalk in bossier, get there early at either one. Also, O'Briens on the Boardwal is a good place as well.

Sounds like a bar with a lot of alcohol-food too? I'll Google research a couple of these and give the managers a call. Thanks for the suggestions!

I agree with this heartily. Also, check out Zocolo. They have the restaurant set up to watch every game. Call and make a reservation telling them you want to come to watch the game and they will put you either in the bar area or in the lobby area where they have TV's set up. The food is good and the drinks are too. I enjoy watching games at Zocolo more than say a BWW, but if that's more your style, enjoy yourself and .

Fatcats is a pretty cool place to watch LSU games. The whole bar is LSU themed, they play the fight song when LSU scores and all the waitresses wear LSU shirts. I enjoyed it the couple of times I have been. Not bad on their drink prices either.
