Simple.

Their offense is not good enough for our defense.

LSU is not the home team every year. Are you new to college football?

some LSU fans scared

Unlike 2007 where this game was merely just a tune up game to Atlanta and all of the LSU nation took a ho-hum approach to the game, this year's game is for 1,000 times more. And the fact that the media is all over a loss by LSU, makes me feel even better.

If the LSU fans were 100% in agreement on being cocky about the match up, I would be nervous. But that isn't the case this year. I feel a classic arse kicking coming on, a la Auburn 2001.

In 2007 we lost to Kentucky. Anything can happen. That's why people are worried, not scared. It's a football game, there is nothing to be scared of. Arkansas destroyed our "defense" last year. Paper stats are worthless.

The 2008, 2009 and 2010 Tigers were characterized by sloppy, erratic play on both sides of the ball. The 2011 team is a different breed. Overall, this team plays smarter and executes better than any other team in the Les Miles era. We have a great team, we play like a great team. That's why I'm confident of a Tiger win on Friday.

We blew a chance to go to the Sugar Bowl last year against an "inferior" Arkansas team. It could happen again.

LSU will win this year for two simple reasons. We have better athletes and it means more to us than the past several years.
This game has typically meant more to Ar Kansas than LSU in recent years. We have come to the end of the season normally with a loss and out of the SEC Championship game. It's been a game about what Bowl game we go to which for us is not big a deal. Last year the Pigs wanted to go to a BCS Bowl game, then they turned around and played like they had never been there ... which they never have ... This year its a completely different situation.

The "want" will be there for LSU! :
