Not sure what you are talking about.

You made a stupid statement. So I pointed it out. For a man I presume to be 40s-50s since you are constantly grandstanding about all your "life experiences," you act like a child with your needless insults and name calling and etc.

quote:

Offense hasn't had to do little all year. No worries, I am not dissing JJ since Lee started most of those games. It's just that the defense has kept opponents from scoring enough to challenge LSU.

Why even make this comment? You brought this up, not I.. has nothing to do with the discussion, but it's your go to schtick so I shouldn't be surprised.

You frequently throw out "team JJ" insults. It's fairly obvious what your opinion is, despite your not so good efforts to act level/balanced/smart about it.

Anyhow, I'm not arguing with you all day... AGAIN.

Your statement is stupid. And you say stuff like this all the time, which is why I'm asking. You make these really general, bland statements and try to pass them off as some sort of deep, insightful piece of knowledge so I was asking why you post stupid shite like that.

To suggest the offense hasn't been challenged simply because they haven't been in a shoot out, is stupid. It's the equivalent of saying, LSU defense hasn't been challenged cause we haven't beaten anyone 3-0. Again, just stupid.

You don't understand the meaning of challenge, which has several definitions. Not surprising. You didn't know the definition of anything the other day. You probably consider picking your nose to be challenging.

The offense has been cruising for most of the season. There have been few close games and in those the defense and special teams rose to the challenge for the most part. I suspect this will change in the next few weeks and the offense to be properly tested.

Your other favorite game. Can't defend yourself so take to arguing dictionary definitions.

The offense is physically challenged when they come up against a good defense.

Finding a way to move the ball, and score enough points to send the game to overtime against the 2nd best team in the country, on the road would qualify as a challenge to most any rational person who knew anything about football.

But not to you.

Have a good one Roge...

so if defense and special teams shine in a 9-6 OT victory, that let's the offense off the hook for their performance? They just took the afternoon off and let the others do the work?

This was never implied. I think you are looking for something to bitch about.

no, I'm saying your assertion that the offense hasn't been tested this year is erroneous and ridiculous...that's all

It's your opinion. I respect it.

LSU is ranked 102nd in passing. Neither QB is going to play in the NFL. The differential of JJ's running ability is greater than the differential of JL's passing ability in my opinion.

Quick comment on this - Jordan Jefferson could slip in as a 6th or 7th rounder. He's not going to be a starting NFL quarterback but he could see some time in Wildcat formations or re-tooled as a skill position player.

When you look at some of the crap QBs in the NFL, one would think JJ has a "shot" to at least hold a clipboard.

Hard to argue with the results, but in terms of Miles being a class act and man of honor, I would say that his handling of Lee tarnished that aspect of his reputation.

I think he was the jerk in this situation. Still appreciate the man and respect his overall character, just not this situation. Can't bring myself to watch the Miss game and doubtful I'll watch the rest of them this year.

If Lee isn't complaining, why should we? Lee and JJ are the only two that really matter when it comes to particular feelings on this subject. We knew JJ would return at some point and start, shouldn't be a shock to anyone.

To that guy, one player is bigger than the team. Glad that the team and coaches don't share this mindset.

The question was asked to me not Lee or JJ. I don't like it.

I'd actually be really surprised if he's not drafted. He's tall, fast, has a great arm, and had a relatively successful college career against great compeition. Plus, he's really young for a SR and teams will think they'll be able to correct his weaknesses. I could even see him going in the 3-5 round range.

Again, the question was asked and I answered. My opinion on the matter that's all. I watch the games, not play them.

As an ATH. Possibly. He isn't going to be a pocket passing QB in the NFL, his mechanics would still need an overhaul. He really hasn't shown the skill set necessary, outside of an arm, to be an NFL QB. Matt Jones on an even lesser scale.
