Les Miles Audio on QB controversy...

On the Les Miles show last night, Les addressed the QB issue...
I know it won't, but this SHOULD put an end to it.
Personally, I think CLM handled it PERFECTLY!
It needed to be said! Sorry if some got their feelings hurt.

transcript wouldnt' do it justice...you have to hear it said to because written out it can be viewed as an arse-holish response. Very easy to take it in a different context.
That said, unless Lee was being punished for team rules like skipping classes, I still stick to what i've said all along about that being a big F you to Lee and all he's done for us to be undefeated getting into Bama and on. No respect or recognition. I still don't think we could have won the Oregon, or WV game for that matter, with Jefferson at QB. Until he shows he's progressed and is able to run a better offense than he did last year. Lee's proven himself, and still being dicked with by the coaching staff.

Well, it's been reported by way too many people that generally don't run with rumors that Lee was being punished so the rest of your post is pretty much garbage.

I just want to win and do it with guys who represent LSU well on and off the field. If "number 9" keeps his nose clean, I'm all for him taking his snaps.
Still don't understand why "number 9" played almost the entire WKU game, however. (assuming Lee was not being punished)
If Lee was punished, why not play Mett in the second string role for WKU?

which is why the skipping class stuff is such BS. That's just coming from people who in their mind KNOW Lee is being treated like shite, but want to somehow justify it or else they are not REAL fans because real fans do not disagree with coaching moves.

Because you will need "number 9" over Mett at some point the rest of the way and he needed a chance to run the base offense as much as possible.
