Is it true that you have to pick the tickets up in ATL this year?

First come first served basis I hear. If they run out before you get yours, tough luck.

Makes sure the student section is sold out I hear.

There's been a few threads on it today. Apparently it was stated in the ordering process. They did it in 2007 too, so nothing new.

Yes. To prevent student scalpers. Your seat will be assigned based on priority points/average priority points of any seating group you join.

I've got 122. I better be on the fricking 50 yard line

well i just graduated, but my friend was going to get the ticket and give it to me since he has finals. Think its worth trying to use his id in ATL or should I try and cancel the request?

Story of my life last year. Went to UNC, Florida, and Auburn with StubHub tickets. Lucky to even get upper-deck Alabama tickets.

But I'll be at the BCSNCG this year

Are priority points for the SECCG based off of this fall?

you should be set for lower bowl tickets for that game then, assuming we make it of course. I wish there was a way to reward students who went to the games but just didnt get tickets through LSU, but no clue how they could really do that.

They already announced it is one per student for both the SEC champ AND for any BCS bowl game.

Oh, and heads up, I was one of the ones waiting early in line at the hotel in 07. Fourth in line.

This is how I found out that SG comes in and cherry picks tickets for themselves and their friends before anyone else can get them.

I got it in an email to a direct inquiry to the ticket office, so no link.

And yeah, I know.

They changed a LOT of policies this past year.

Usually you would get your requested allotment for tickets no matter what.

Now they teir it down if demand exceeds supply, etc.

I don't think you could even request 2 tickets for the big away games this year.
