Mrs. Baloo and I were searching through NetFlix for a movie and tried this one out. Surprisingly good film with Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous) and Tom Waits (general awesomeness).
It definitely had an indie low-budget feel, but I thought the film worked well and it was an interesting two hours. Essentially, everyone who commits suicide ends up in a purgatory like place where they keep living their crappy life.
Anyone seen it?

Yeah, I saw it a few years ago and really liked it. Interesting premise. I always wonder why Shannon whatsherface didn't become a bigger star. Not a huge star maybe, but I thought she'd work more consistently than she has.

It's come on Comedy Central a couple of times, and I have always kept it on. It's just fun to watch.
I like what death looks like. I like the quirkiness of the film. I thought the special abilities and the hole in the passenger seat to be funny. Tom Waits was great.

I loved the black hole under the seat. and the "miracle" of the headlights working. Never gut bustingly funny, but a good quirky laugh.

Saw it in the theaters when I came through New Orleans years ago. Great indie film. Loved the Black hole under the front seat where everyone loses stuff. Been a while since I have watched it.

This has been in my queue for awhile now. I just always pass over it for something else.
I'm glad I got some positive feedback, I'll probably watch it tonight finally.

Yeah, the black hole under the seat was great. "You're doing it on purpose!"
I lost it whenever Shea Whigham's char "taught his brother a lesson" after his first suicide threat. I also got a kick at the reveal of The Messiah because I didn't know that actor was in the movie, and his facial expressions are sometimes enough to make me laugh. I enjoyed the movie and thought it was a clever and imaginative take on subject matter that usually is only represented as taboo and dark.
