After reading the posts from last night and this morning, do we now have a true quarterback controversy? I think/hope Les was just giving JJ a start and some reps. against a far inferior team. If JL isn't the starter against OM I would be highly surprised.

I know Les lost a lot of sleep over this.

As long as a black man is an option to start at LSU, there will be a qb controversy.

I really don't give a shite either way, but if Lee starts against Ole Piss, I am sure we'll see a bunch of "Hey I was wrong about Les" posts when it happens... or not.

Got the JJ fanboi playbook down. Whenever JJ is criticized dont defend him blame someone else or cry racism!

Conveniently ignore how so many wanted Herb Tyler over Brian Sparacino and Rohan Davey over Josh Booty.

Stick with your marching orders ignore reality!

How is this thread supposed to go on for 8 pg's and mirror 10 other threads if the truth is laid out on pg 1?

I also remember the controversy that existed when Josh Booty was here. Until it was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt the Davey was better, people clamored for JB.

Dude maybe in your neighborhood but in the overwhelming majority of neighborhood people were flipping out wondering why after Rohan came back from his injury that occurred int he Fla game why Saban didnt immediately put him back in the lineup.

I think ur remembering things the way it helps ur argument not the way it actually happened.

But again u got the JJ fanboi playbook down dont be bothered with facts and logic and truth!

I seem to remember lots of idiots calling for Sparacino to start....it was like a running joke. I do think there are people that look at this from a football perspective, but completely denying the race angle is throwing reality out the window.

Thats exactly what THEY do. I can guarantee if JJ was white and JL was black THEY would be screaming for JL.

Its the same way with Obama. According to THEIR way of thinking, a black man in a high up position can do no wrong. And if you think otherwise that makes you racist. So sick of this absolute bullshite.

I never thought after watching the first 8 games of the season beating 5 ranked teams, that the starting spot would ever go back to JJ.

Watching him run the offense is so clunky and not efficient at all. He makes TERRIBLE decisions that a SENIOR qb should not be making.

For all the "JJ is better this year" crowd, you got to see how much JJ has progressed from the TAMU game.

Ah, yes, the ad hominem attack. Well played.

I am not a JJ fanboy, but I'm also not of the belief that I have to choose between either guy. Both qbs are flawed and each has a set of skills that benefit the team.

The disgust for JJ that exists with so many people is irrational and ought to embarrass any Tiger fan.

If JJ starts the Ole Miss game, I will lose interest in this team. Unbelievable. Why does Miles seem to look for reasons not to play Lee but is instead always chomping at the bit to get JJ back in there? Why is Lee not the starter?

Dude the only ones calling for Sparacino to start were his little group of Denham springs backers. I remember for the first part of the season there was like 6 who called in almost daily and when one would call there would be like 10 calling in to make fun of them and open their eyes. Even after Sparacino had one of the worst performances I have ever seen by a qb vs Alabama when Herb got hurt a few of the Denham Springs crew still tried calling in but they were laughed off the radio after the Bama game.
