Anyone catch the commentators talking at the end of the game??? Alabama was up by 10 (17-7) and one of the guys callin the game on ESPN said -------->
"Alabama's up by 10 here against Mississippi State .... LSU beat Mississippi State by 13. The difference between 10 and 13 is three... The same amount that LSU beat Alabama by. They are (LSU/Alabama) the best teams in the country!"
My wife, who hates football, chimed in and said that was the stupidest thing she had heard all day
Anyone know who called that game????

ULL fans do that shite if we have a common opponent, but their so retarded they'll compare quarters. "Hey, LSU scored 7 in the second quarter and we scored 14...that tells you something right there."

Todd Blackledge was one, but I doubt he would say something that stupid. Probably Joe Tessitore

Maybe someone will upload the entire game to YouTube like that one guy did with the Alabama game -------> then I'll have my answer as to who said it

Just read this:
"We played hard and didn't give up," WKU coach Willie Taggart said. "We scored more points than Alabama."

That is a stupid thing to say.. BUT..
LSU and Alabama have both played Mississippi State, Florida, and Tennessee...
And all three of those games were virtually identical.
LSU beats Mississippi State 19 to 6. (13 point margin). Alabama beats them 17 to 7. (10 point margin).
LSU beats Florida 41 to 11. (30 point margin). Alabama beats them 38 to 10. (28 point margin).
LSU beats Tennessee 38 to 7. (31 point margin). Alabama beats them 37 to 6. (31 point margin).
It is interesting how similar they are...

this theory would work but the ending score for the bama/moo game was 24-7

I just want that trend to continue against Ole Miss and Arky. What was Bama's margin against those two again?

I didn't finish watching it, but it's still similar.
19 to 6 compared to 24 to 7. 13 points compared to 17 points. A four point difference.
I'm not saying it's a good to take these things seriously, but it's just interesting how similar Alabama and LSU are. Their games against common opponents are so similar in score, and their game against each other was so similar that it went into overtime, and was won on a field goal.

They want a rematch. I would assume they hope that Bama wins next time. Meanwhile all Bama needs to do is limited work and win out. Auburn will only give them a small challenge. Then Bama can sit and watch LSU do the hardest work to get to the NC game. Bama will not have to worry about having to win the SECCG but LSU does. We get anyone hurt while winning and Bama sitting home watching. Nice reward for losing to us. Sounds fair, right?
