I think it was failure on their part to deliver consistently - what is expected from anumber 2 team. I think simply put it was

1. Bad coaching calls to try the long FGs.

2. Once the calls were made there was bad execution on the part of the kicker and the holder as a couple of them didn't even reach the distance.

3. LSU made a great play to block a FG - why isn't anyone talking about it?

4) Bad coaching call to use a Wildcat pass near the redzone in the 4th qtr

5) Bad coaching to NOT use timeouts to get the ball back at the end of the game with more time

6) Bad coaching to call THREE pass plays in a row in OT

7) Bad coaching to get a 'breaking the huddle with 12 men' in OT

Coaching fail all the way. Had Satan even in OT decided to run TR when they were at the edge of makeable field goal range then they would have scored more points. Coaching fail. Repeated throughout the game and in OT no less!

Can we PLEASE let the Alabama game go? It was a wonderful win for the program, but this board has been clogged with countless similar threads talking about who played better, missed opportunities....

LET IT GO. WE WON. MOVE ON.

We have 5 games left to play, let's focus on those!! Maybe Chicken can intervene here...

You don't think Alabama had missed opportunities? Of course they did. We did too. We'll both try to correct them in order to get better from here on. Why is talking about their missed opportunities offensive to you?

I am not too fond of the multiple threads myself - but can't help but smile when I know the reaction of the Bammer fans when they click on Tiger Rant just to see what is going on and they see visible proof again and again of the win and it has gotta hurt

Some of you obviously don't work with Alabama fans if you keep posting move on comments.

I will move on when I want to!

I don't think those were bad calls.

The man knew he wasn't going to get very many chances to get points.

Exactly. He went into the game underestimating the strength of our D and our ability to stifle their run game. He did not have an effective backup plan in place.

Les faced the same obstacles in Alabama; but he DID have an effective backup plan in place and executed it. Props to the muthafrickin' speed option....the play we all have hated so passionately.

Because it wasn't a great play. The kicker kicked the ball literally 4 feet off the ground. It would have been hard NOT to block it.

Are you trying to stifle dialogue? No one is forcing you to click on a thread with the subject line so obvious.

WE WON

Yes we did, and some don't like the disrespect of others trying to diminish that accomplishment, and feel the "want" to set the record straight.

We will, in due time. Right now the Bama game is still news worthy, and relevant.

Be careful what you ask for. You may get banned for trying to shut down activity on his board.

When your kickers fg attempts fall harmlessly in the endzone multiple times then... uh yeah coaching fail.

This..... and to try the hail mary looking pass right after your heisman hopeful just ripped off a 20+ yd. run.... we could have tried a couple long FG, instead we let Wing pin em deep(inside the 5) and let our D play...

And to the "lets move on, games over", guy.... screw that, the Gumps keep crying about how they beat themselves, and they are still the best team.. I will keep rubbing it in as long as they keep resisting.... And it feels goooooddddd....
