And don't forget in all this that the president of the university, Spanier, was fired too. Over the entire university!!

I think it is certainly possible that Paterno knew more. Hell, Sandusky was on his coaching staff for how many years? Paterno may need to stay lawyered up for awhile.
The sickness surrounding this whole issue (which is sick beyond measure) is incredible. I mean here's an example of what is being reported there:
Imagine that - more people than ever want to have a "Sandusky Blitz" Damn no wonder it's called Happy Valley and Pedophile State University (PSU). It seems like a joke to some of these people. Next to the article is a pic of Sandusky suggesting it's time for a shower.
Do enough people there actually want to overcome this? I really feel sorry for all the victims caught up in this tragic event.
