I have very mixed feelings on this.
I agree he should have gone further with authorities in his reporting.
However what if somehow (I realize it's a very slim chance) the charges are proven to be false? I keep thinking of my grandfather in this case and what if it was him?

IRRELEVANT!!
1) His OWN Grand Jury testimony proves he BELIEVES the facts
2) He kept the dude on the staff that reported the incident to him. IF he thinks that guy is lying about something this big...why is he still on the staff?
3) The dude was told (by a guy he trusts) that a 10 y/o boy was being sexually abused. YOU DO NOT GIVE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT TO THE PERVERT HERE. You report that shite to the police and you INSIST they get to the bottom of it immediately!

Go online and download the indictment transcript and you will see that Paterno is guilty as shite!
