When donating to TAF, they give you a choice of what project or fund to donate to. Are some worth more point than others?

My co-worker mentioned that in the past, some projects were worth 2 pts/$1000 instead of 1 pt/$1000. Anywhere to find this information?

Gracias.

I always donate 2/1,000. Call my rep Ben Ross at TAF. He will hook you up with those that give you double the points.

The band hall is 1/1000, all the others are 2/1000.

Sounds like pretty much all of them are 2/$1000. Interesting.

Poor bandies get no respect. I'll probably donate to the Alfred Blue fund.

Al Blue fund is tax deductible but not a Philanthropy Project so no points.

Sonofabitch. They need to separate those out.

How about stadium renovations?

How many points until you can break in to the season ticket list? Not necessarily lower bowl seats, or does your point total determine which sections you're eligible for?

I honestly have no idea. I just know it's much more than I have now. Hopefully someone will chime in and help us out with that.

I think people with higher point totals get first crack at the better seats if they come available and they trickle down the point list until someone upgrades. Decent seats don't come available all that often, I'm sure, though.

yeah i figured the priority trickled down, for sure. it was the same way with our Saints season tix growing up back in the early-mid 90s, then my dad got stationed in Japan and when we moved we had to get rid of our tickets. i've always loved the saints, but back then you could hardly give them away...now the same seats we had at around $30/game are going for something like $200/game...

TJG210: do your points accumulate with each donation, or do you have to rack up that many each season?
