Personally not a fan of that system. No one likes having to reverse their own decision...I wonder what the rates of seemingly getting the calls right after going to replay are for both systems.

That being said, I think the biggest travesty we have when it comes to officiating is having officials that can and do have ties to programs playing on the field. After all, there's a damn reason when bowl games are played there are neutral conference officials doing the games.

Personally I'd like to see officiating handled either by the NCAA directly or by some type of pool system run by the conferences that would ensure that crews working games have ZERO connections to the teams on the field.

Couldn't agree more. There have to be 45-50 guys in Montana or Idaho who would love to officiate SEC football on weekends in the fall.
