Yet here you are starting threads about them...

Now I'm glad I read the thread before posting this reply, almost verbatim.

I do hope in a few years we will all look back on this as it was a good thing for all concerned. Right now I'm just proud that the best conference in college football invited us to the party.

See, when I read something like this... MU fans just being glad that they're being given a shot... it makes me feel kind of bad that other SEC fans are acting like such fricking pussies over the invite. Welcome aboard.

A&M won one national title in the 30s and hasn't had a top 5 finish in over a half century. Slive and every SEC school president knew that A&M was a sub-par program before they were ever offered.

A&M brings a lot of TV sets and exposure to Texas fertile recruiting grounds without taking away conference or national titles from other conference members - win/win/win across the board for the SEC.

Thanks for the compliment and the Welcome.

Believe me I'm sure you will run across Missouri fans that will make you want to hit them and say wake up at times, I know I do. All large groups have them and I can attest to that from reading the Kansas City Star websites comments area under the stories. I have many times slapped my forehead and said do we have to claim responsibility for them as a fan-base due to comments that make me cringe.
