Was at the game in 2009, they were a pretty sorry bunch however to be expected by in bred, cross eyed, toothless moron Gumpsters. As you can see I love these idiots. I told myself I would never go again, however this year I think we win and I want to see their sorry butts crying on the way home.

Went to Bama the first year Nicky was there. Had a great experience, with just a few F' LSU when we were walking out of the stadium after we beat them. Wish I was going back this year!!
I was there too. Saw numerous LSU fans walking around in "saban is a douche" and "saban is a bitch" shirts. I'm sure those fans were treated respectfully.

W and are chanting LSU with your fellow LSU fans, watch out for the pissed off Gump. They will get in your face and violate your personal space. Don't be surprised if they poke you and maybe even shove you.

They have LSU fans making shirts this year that say "the only crimson we fear comes once a month".

I lived in Bham for 3 years in late 70s. The Bama fan is a different breed from us. They are so serious. You only have to read their message boards to see the difference. The humor you see here isn't matched on their boards; it's more of a discussion of strategy and scenarios.
You'll hear and see references to us on their boards as drunken braggerts. Theirs is a straighter world. I go every two years to BDS and have seldom had a problem. But the joking and humor and drinking that is part of our culture hits them the wrong way, and I have experienced it first hand. I think I haven't had much problem because I lived there and understand them.
Coming out of BDS 4 years ago when we won was one of the eery experiences I've had. Thousands and thousands of Bama fans coming down the ramps and just stone silence, all doing a slow burn from the loss. I noticed the only people talking (and there must've been thousands around me) were me, my son, and some other few LSU people. And our voices carried. When I noticed it I knew to get quiet. Crossing a street I saw a car coming to turn onto Bryant Drive, and then I realized he might not stop. I stepped back and was glad I did; he went through without slowing, and it was quite clear he didn't care who he hit. He was Bama and had that same slow burn look on his face as the others.
Best for us to face the fact we're different from the other SEC fans and have a reputation. I stay on guard and don't wear logos and have not much problem. But I know them.
If you're interested in history there's a book about a Louisiana brigade in General Lee's Army of Northern Virginia. They were called the Louisiana Tigers (and yes, the football team was named after them) Those guys had the same problem we do now--the drinking, joking, and humor was looked on as really odd by the brigades from other states. By the way, the Alabama soldiers used that Yellow Hammer cheer the Bama students do now (though not the Rammer Jammer part of it.)

actually I'm non-violent, so don't project your homoerotic feelings of needing another man to touch you onto me.

people that find themselves in bad situations, more often than not, put themselves there. don't start any problems and you shouldn't get any problems imho
