WVU’s move to the Big 12 has hit a snag.
There is speculation that the “bump” was a push by Louisville.

Seems like the hold-ups are you and Louisville.

The Big XII, let by Texas, has no integrity or honor. And they never will as long as Deloss Dodds is at Texas.
The man is a snake.
The man is a snake.

Well its not us. Neinas knows we are done with them so he can stop begging now. I think Louisville is your competition.

Seems that way to me. It's weird how many LSU fans are butt hurt over the Big 12 and Texas, why should we care?
FWIW, the Big 12 could Louisville and Cincy with WVU and actually get back to 12 teams. That would work out with traveling schedules and would earn the right for a conference championship game again.

Understand Louisville for it's basketball, but football is the tail that wags the dog and Louisville football is a very poor addition to any conference that isn't a mid major.

This is my point. How is Texas or the Big 12 in competition with the SEC or LSU? We will not be playing Texas on the field anytime soon and our conference already gets far more respect than the Big 12. If the Big 12 got more money for its TV contract, the SEC could use that for future negotiations.

You cant blame this one on Texas, it was OU's AD that was running his mouth off, again, saying things that weren't a done deal.

Very doubtful. We already have Kentucky's flagship. Why would we want another Kentucky team? I couldn't see it happening.

Texas doesn't want 12 and what Texas wants, Texas gets. They want to stay at 10 and I think it's because they have no intention of sticking around. Most every team except Texas has stated it wanted to go back to 12 teams but word as of yesterday is they're expecting to stay at 10 teams.
There was a proposal on the table to have everyone sign a grant of rights for 6 years to their Tier 1 and 2 TV rights. Missouri said prove you're committed to the conference long term and make that 13 years which is the length of the TV contract they just signed with Fox or at least 10 years. Texas refused and got it's 6 year deal which says to me in 6 years we will have decided if the LHN is working or not. Then they can dump it and move to a different conference or become independent and keep the LHN.
The same people in the Big 12 are vilifying MU for questioning it's stability and wanting out when it was just last a little over a month ago September 20th that Texas, TT,OU and OSU sudden;y found some new found commitment to the Big 12 after being turned down by the Pac 12. They wanted out and were out until the Pac said no thanks.
To WVU, Louisville or any school that calls your best answer to them is hanging up.
By the way Mizzou isn't holding anything up as it hasn't even been a months time to begin with and what's holding everything up is legal stuff between the Big 12 and Mizzou.

100% of the holdup, IMO, is the Big 12 needing 10 teams for 2012 come hell or high water due to the TV contracts.
If they can find someone to replace Mizzou in 2012, they'll gladly let them go. If they can't, they'll fight like hell to keep them.
What Mizzou should do is point to the language in the contract that basically says "if you give 6 months notice, you pay ___". Well, 6 months before June 30, 2012 is December 31, 2011. That is the logic A&M used to leave, and why we heard all along that December was A&M's deadline TO leave.
Tell the Big 12 to get effed, and have fun in arbitration over the exit revenue.
