What's the latest on D'haquille Williams?

Haven't heard much about him lately. What's the deal with him right now? I know he left the G.C.C.C. team but where does he stand in regards to next year?

I think I read that it is still a longshot to make all the credits by Feburary to be a 2012 recruit, but it is still possible. He said that if LSU wants him and has room, he would come, but if not he would look elsewhere. Many still believe he is more than likely a 2013 recruit, but regardless, I with everyone else think he is a definite take if available.

Yeah I'd like to see him suit up for us as well.

Just sent email to his head coach at Southeast Prep PG Academy.
I will attach any response that I receive from Coach Mitchell.

In his first season ever on the gridiron, Williams hauled in 44 passes for 1,161 yards and 21 touchdowns - good enough to easily land him a spot on the Louisiana Class 5A All-State team.
In workout measurements, the receiver has a 4.4 time in the 40-yard dash, while also having a 37-inch vertical leap.
“He’s definitely the best. I always told myself that Ryan (Perilloux)would be the best athlete that I’d ever coach, but let me tell you, D’Haquille is better. This kid can do lots and lots of things, and he’s a truly special talent.”

He averaged 27.0 yards on 44 receptions for 1,186 yards and 20 touchdowns in 11 games as a senior. He rushed 40 times for 307 yards and five touchdowns.

D’haquille Williams is another name to watch. He is a 6’3 190 lb WR from Reserve, LA (East St. John HS). His first couple of years of high school he attended an unaccredited school and did not receive credit for passing courses. Therefore, LSU will more than likely sign and place him. Actually he has stated that he will attend Gulf Coast CC for the 2011 and 2012 season. Expect him to sign with the Tigers in February 2013. Shea Dixon (Managing editor of www.tigersportsdigest.com) stated that if it weren’t for D’haquille’s academic issues, he would be a strong candidate for a 5 Star status

In today's day and age what the heck is an "unaccredited school"? Was this a religious/private school or just a crappy public one?
Posted on 10/20/11 at 4:03 pm to nvcowboyfan
It is a private Christian school that was apparently really poorly run.

In high school those numbers are ridiculous.
Imagine him and Avery for 3 years wow it will be like Bowe and Doucet all over again.
Or Clayton and Henderson.
