It has worked for Florida and Lsu in the past. It will work again. It adds a wrinkle that the defense has to prepare for. It will open the field up to the playmakers equaling bigger plays. Florida used tebow his freshman year in the role that Jefferson plays now. Lsu sucessfully used perriloux in 07 the same way. It works if handled correctly. It is also a blessing in disguise should Lee go down, because you have qb that has been taking snaps also and involved in the game. Think about it when flynn went down in 07 we don't make it to the title game without perriloux.

I agree as long as it is used in the proper way and the coaches don't try to mix it up TOO much to catch opposing defenses off guard. Don't do anything fancy, just keep working it how they've been doing and LSU should continue to roll..

4 years later and LSU fans still can't spell Perrilloux...

JJ has a 160 QB rating against Bama and either has beaten them or had the lead until he was hurt in the 3rd Q against them in '09.
