It's a stencil that LSU "stole" and it was not created by LSU thus they can't trademark the tiger head. That's why you've seen the move to toonces.
Just like how the old logo with LSU in all capitals and Tigers in script underneath is no longer in use because LSU couldn't trademark that font ... they just borrowed it. Thus they created and trademarked the geaux font.

That would be sweet if we include the tiger head. I didn't wait for a response. I have the local guys looking at it right now.
Stripe across the seam at the top of the shoulder is a complicating factor though not huge. May have to heat transfer that part otherwise screenprint will have a white space at the seam.
