I will be going to knoxville on Saturday and have a few of the normal questions...I don't see the typical threads discussing all of this, so I'll ask here....
What is the best way into the stadium?...coming from east...
Where should I park...and should or should I not plan to tailgate...
What are the must-see places and must-eat resturants in knoxville?....
What is the best way to kill time on game day around campus?....

the stadium is close to the interstate you can take about any exit from james white pky in from the east. Park in the area by barleys In the old city and walk from there and hit a few places and eat and drink your way downtown cut through mkt square hit preservation pub rooftop bar and then walk to the stadium. Sights to see hard to say not much within the city that is something to see you will pass the old worlds fair site and you will see how not to build a university on a river with no room to grow.

not really any must see sights within knoxville itself. the allure or draw to the area is still the great smokey mountains national park.
but we did have a super early snowfall up above the 3000 foot level, so some of the trees are already starting to change colors for fall. fall foliage drive is about the only thing to "see".
