Student Section Seats

Prime seats, only used for half the game yesterday...you guys get out there 3 hours before the game, and start leaving at halftime...are you kidding me? Sell those seats to people that want to stay and watch the tigers play...

People do this all over the stadium not just in the student section

a former lsu player once said that this was their goal before the game.
they wanted to empty the seats by halftime or it wasn't a success.

the student section in section 106 was half empty early in the 3rd. The rest of the stadium was packed still. It was bad.

Doesn't the student section start to look empty at the top of the section over the course of the game from people condensing down into the lower parts?

I Left with about 1 minute in the game when LSU scored that last touchdown, just because I had to walk all the way to brightside

That's B.S. I'm taking up for the students on this one. We sit across the end zone from the students and in comparison to all the empty seat in the sections behind LSU's bench, it looked like most of the students stayed the whole game.

i was in the student section yesterday and was happy when some people cleared out. it's so crowded at the beginnning with people who don't necessarily care about the game and are just there for the social event. But in all fairness, there are sections all over that have people leave early.

This. Is was stupid crowded at the beginning. For the most part though I didn't notice a whole bunch of people leaving until the very end.

I agree. The student section, and basically the entire stadium, was pretty poor overall yesterday. The students are supposed to set the tone and they didn't.

afaik, 106 isnt in the student section. thats seats with chairbacks. the most disappointing thing to me as far as people not filling the stands and staying the whole time are the people with the prime seats in the lower decks (chair backs). Most dont show up, or start to leave right before the half. Why pay all that money and then not stay the whole time? The student section actually wasn't bad yesterday. Their only problem is the stupid chants they do now which just make them look trashy and classless.
