Yep, the team was obviously overconfident and didn't show up, especially the offense. This year, under very similar circumstances, Les Miles has a chance to distinguish himself from Nick Saban in a very positive way if he can have the team focused, intense and ready to play. It'll be interesting to see if he does it.

That was Leaks 3rd start after getting significant playing time in 4 games before that. It was Leak's 7th game of playing time.
This will be Driskill's first start and on the road with his playing time being the second half of the Bama game and the last few minutes of the UK game, both of which he performed poorly.
Leak came into that game playing well. 2 completely different scenarios.

When Vegas puts a line at 13.5 it's pretty much a sure thing.
In the last 10 years teams with that spread win at a clip of 83% or so...

With FLA getting top recruiting classes every year, I never think they are a sure win, especially in the past 20 or so years. I dont care if they were even winless, they do have top talent each and every year.

One thing I remember from that game Rex was Ron Zook running the RB out of the back field for a pass every time we blitzed heavily...they killed us on it. I remember becoming a huge fan of Saban cause after the game he was honest and said, "this loss is on the coaching staff. We were completely out coached today." A lot of coaches deflect and dont take the blame, and he did. I hate him now, but I remember that like it was yesterday.

Well if your using that train of thought, then the last time we thought beating florida was a "sure thing" we also won a national championship.. Seems like a win-win situation
