The Big 12 commish releases a statement saying he is confident Mizzou will stay on the same day that the Mizzou chancellor steps down from the Big 12 expansion chair. How comical.
It may not mean a thing but it sure does make the Big 12 commissioner look bad.

Check out the OKTC article on a future SEC Network. Big, big $$$ coming the SEC's way in a few years for Tier 3 media rights.
That's why A&M and other states like VA, NC, and MO have been targets...households = network $$$ under an SEC network framework.

Missouri will eventually end up in the B1G.

And your reasoning is...

I really think this is where they want to end up. This was their first choice from the beginning and they feel they can renew their rivalry with Nebraska and compete better in the B1G.

Big didnt want Mizzou. Mizzouri doesnt want the SEC, they were just flirting to try and get the Big 10 interested. It didnt work. Mizzou needs to realize they arent getting that invite.

its mizzou.
I think so as well. It's the biggest state the SEC can reasonably expect to add, and the increase in TV markets is the angle the SEC will use to renegotiate the existing TV contracts.
