His brother was shot along with others as he worked as a security guard at a sports bar during a super bowl party. Patron had to much to drink and was refused service he was allowed to leave with a friend.....he waited drove up to the club and shot several people including Sam's brother. Sam's brother was the last to be transported to the hospital he told ems to take those that had been shot in the head (2 girls) before him.

I had a class and sat right next to him 2 years ago, he was funny as hell. Michael Ford was also in the class sitting on the other side, Sam would always be joking with him and making him laugh during class.
