I don't think there's much of a point in arguing with people like you who seem to take the stance that coaches are infallible. Lee has basically ended the debate of who the better qb is already. JJ never deserved to be the unquestioned starter, his piss poor stats prove that. Show me one other place where a qb can play as poorly as JJ and be able to return the next season as the #1 guy no questions asked.

I've never taken that stance...ever. CLEARLY coaches, like everyone else, CAN be wrong. But do you not find it odd that EVERY fan base of EVERY organized sports team has a contingent of fans that feel their coach is wrong about any host of things? Are they all correct and their coach is wrong?

I've stated that Lee has looked solid this year. I'm VERY happy about that, because unlike some I pull for the name on the side of the helmet and not the name on the back of the jersey...so Lee playing well means a greater chance of LSU succeeding. But this notion that because Lee has played well this years automatically means that he would have/could have played this well last year under the cluster frick of an offensive scheme we were still trying to run last year has no basis in fact, just wishful thinking and revisionism.

Again, in your opinion. It may very well have been based on how shitty things were on offense last year that JJ posed the best possible chance of making it work on a game by game basis. I only know what I know from a fan's perspective, and as such I know enough to know I can't make that call from my seats in Tiger Stadium. If only others had that same humility...

Much like JJ, to the staff Lee was ALSO a known commodity. for whatever reason, they have felt that JJ gave the team the best shot to win. While I thought it was probably a wash in most areas, I tended to agree. For peple to continually suggest that there was NO QUESTION that Lee, based on what we had seen from his play over the same time frame, was CLEARLY the better option is simply bullshite. If you'd want to argue that as bad as JJ played then it was worth a shot to try Lee and see how it went, then fine. I am and was on board with that. But this bullshite about how Lee has always been better is nonsense.

None of that addresses the OP's post though. Based on the FACT that Miles and co. have felt JJ gave LSU the best shot at winning games, I'm going to assume that if/when JJ is reinstated he will be worked back into the lineup at practice. He's missed far too much time, and Lee has played too well to pull him. But...my guess is JJ will be put into a position to play his way back into that role if he can.

The question, if he does and Miles plays him in that capacity, will you and others support that or will you turn on him and the program?
