I was in the purple lot. These people must have left just before us because the young guy was covered in blood sitting on the sidewalk when we left. I thought he fell down a hill or something and planted his face in the concrete. It was kinda dark in the lot and the security people had left.
The traffic was stand still in both directions and the area was lit up with a gas station right there. Someone, let's make that alot of people had to have been watching all this. They had some shady characters in the gas station. Sorry to hear this hope the perps aren't WVA people because we had a stellar time with their fans. I think everyone in the lot, maybe 15 cars total were LSU.

As someone from Big Ten country who went to the game, I'm sorry to hear about this incident. I was an impartial visitor to Morgantown just wanting to see an exciting game other than the typical Northwestern/Illini/ND action Big Ten around here. Hope this doesn't skew my post, but I had a great time in Morgantown. The atmosphere was exciting like the few SEC games I've attended. My qualifications are that I know a couple of LSU fans and some WVU fans. They are both good groups of folks, but sometimes I need an interpreter to understand the LSU guys. I guess I really don't have a dog in this fight other than offer some objective observations about common sense and generalizations.

After reading the majority of the posts in this thread very few people on this board have taken time to think about what they post. To fault an entire state, city, university or fan-base because of some derelicts is simply irresponsible. I would have thought anyone affiliated with areas like Baton Rouge and New Orleans, La. would understand this after being sh*t on by the rest of our country for so many decades. Think about it for a second.

Would it be responsible for me to call all Saints fans, LSU fans or people from Louisiana dirtbags because some of them are murderers and shoot at cops? Would it be responsible for me to call the NOPD slimeball crooks because some of them are actually slimeball crooks? Would is be responsible to call all White Sox fans murderous thugs because some gang banger wearing a Sox cap killed a Cubs fan outside of Wrigley Field? Would it be responsible of me to call all the fans in Dixie racists pricks because I could hear many white guys yelling "kill that n*gger" when I visited several SEC games in the 21st century? We're talking modern times here kids, not the 60's. Basically, I assume many of you might actually get my point.

I can say that I have had some great times visiting cities, towns and rural areas all around this great country. From the excellent white water and mountain biking in West Virginia to the excellent food, music and debauchery in Nawlins. I have to admit that I find it comical that anyone from the South would call anyone from Appalachia a redneck or inbred. What's next, us Chicagoans calling New Yorkers uppity liberal urban socialites?

By the way, to the "lady" that types frick all the time and said she was sexually frustrated; may I advise the rabbit.

My God bless you all and the United States of America. Good luck to your football team, they are fun to watch.
