I agree, some of the misses by RS were off target and would have been difficult catches for the best receivers out there. It just seemed like he didn't really try to catch them and gave up on the throw. I wasn't on the field though and things like that are easy to judge when watching from the TV. It's a completely different situation when you are the one on the field making the plays. And kudos to RS on the one catch he made when he went up in the air and reached behind him. Excellent hands to hang on to that one.

RS is a quality player. The hype coming out of high school is his biggest problem. There are higher expectations of him so making a few good plays a game doesn't cut it w/ our fans. If he was just another guy coming out of high school, he'd be considered good.

RS is 3 weeks behind the rest of the players in game conditions. It will take probably another two games for him to get into the flow of things. While not the best receiver, he did show improvement in the spring, but I believe that was derailed by the suspension. He may have been practicing, but he likely saw fewer snaps than the guys who would actually play. It appears he has also lost his spot to ODB and it will not be recovered. However, I do believe he will begin making plays on offense.

Yes, that was a tough catch and shows he can do it.
