I wish Miles would put his foot down about that crap....As good as Mathieu is he does not need to do that crap.....I know WV was chirping it up pretty good but I hope Miles reminds his team that they need to play with class.
It cost us with a few penalty and it almost got real ugly at the end of the game.
Do not want to take away from the win but emotionally we looked like an old Miami team last night and I expected more from our team representing my school and Louisiana.

Did you notice how the trash talk kind of deterred you a bit. Think about the WV guys going head to head in a game. I agree lastnight was a little harsh, but thats SEC football. When you go to someones home field to a sale-out crowd to play a #16 rank team and then woop'em so bad that Marie Lavoux's South Louisiana Fog rolls in before the game is over.....That deserves a little trash talk in my book......Look out Bama, the Tigers are comin for ya....

he backed it up but it's a little classless and not the type of shite miles likes. I like some trash talk but he wouldn't shut up the whole game.

I dunno, these players are typically classy. Did you read the comments from players of teams LSU played BEFORE WV? NEVER has any other player had anything negative to say about an LSU player. WV created that environment and the Tigahs force-fed it back to their arrogant asses. I don't think you'll see the same attitude in the next game. Frick a Mountaineer! I used to respect that team, but I hate them almost as bad as any team from the state of Alabama.

I agree with this. I thought last night was excessive. Miles has to get a handle on this shite. Very disappointed.

This about sums it up for me. When we were obviously in the position to win, we should have cooled off. T7 was making too much of an effort to get in people's faces in the fourth. I love the swag, love it, but I don't want all the respect T7 has earned to be crapped away on stupid crap.

All yall who have problems with the players talking trash just need to STFU b/c it's obvious none of you who have problems with it never played a collegiate sport.
Trash talking goes on all the time in every game. I personally, love it because when people talk shite game play elevates to another level and teams play harder and the intensity greatly increases. Not a thing is wrong with trash talking if you keep in check and don't start fighting and whatnot. Many times you can talk trash and throw your opponent off his game and make him lose concentration.

It was TM7 all night long, but equally as disturbing was the fact that towards the end, the whole damned secondary was jawing away (Simon and Taylor)
I don't know exactly what happened to make this game so chippy, but hopefully it'll be an isolated case.

Last night seemed to be EXCESSIVE trash talking. It's one thing to put some fear in their ear and show your confidence, but that was embarassing to Louisiana around the country. These players are good enough to let their actions do the talking.
Yes I'm over 50, have never played college football, and am proud to say I don't have swagger since it appears that the definition of swagger on this board is to be classless and "gangsta".
