ever been so loud the noise alone knocked the ball off the tee on opening kick off? its happened in reliant (with the roof closed)....just sayin.

noise and heckling will not be a factor. they deal with it at every away game and even simulate it at some practices.

Because I'm sure that happened.

I do like the Saints organization, very classy.

I must ask this one question. There are many fans that want a big rivalry between the Texans and Cowboys. That is very understandable but, does it seem to anybody else that there is more of a rivalry (however small) with the Saints?

Reliant can get loud, no doubt. Not loud enough to knock the ball off of the tee though, that's funny. Reliant loud, is in no way to superdome loud. I have been to both, and there is no comparison.

FWIW I think the saints have a bigger rivalry with both texas teams than they do with each other.

It's really hard to dislike thier fans..
That whole message board is pretty grounded and sincere.

Now, as far as pre-season ... our teams hate each other.

We need to send ChadHeMad over there to kick start some smack talk.

Hi Texans fans! Saints fan here. What's up friends from up the I-10?! Saints fans are anxious for the game on Sunday. When the schedule came out I knew this game would be a big one. I had a feeling you guys would be undefeated at this point (and I hoped we would be too ) but it should still be a great matchup. I had this game penciled in as a loss if we were undefeated at this point. But the fact that we are 1-1 I am a little more confident we could put it off. But I still feel it will be a shoot out. Whoever has the ball last wins. I think both teams will do a solid job of stopping each other's running attack, and it will come down to the battle of the QB's. I think Shaub is the most underrated QB in the league. The guys has everything you look for in a franchise QB. He reminds me a lot of how Drew was looked upon years ago, had all the stats just not much post season success so he was over looked. But I think that success will come for you guys. Shaub is definetily better than Eli, Matt Ryan, Sanchez, Flacco, and Romo IMO. Once he gets some post season wins under his belt I feel he will mentioned with the Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees, Rivers of the world. Obviously we are concerned about Andre Johnson. I just feel we do not have a corner that can really handle him. Best we could do is try to limit him in the redzone, which is a daunting task to say the least. I am interested to see how our offense handles your revamped defense. Wade might not be much of a Head Coach, but as a DC he is very respected and has skins on the wall. If he is able to get consistent pressure on Drew Brees and stop the run, its going to be a rough day for my Saints Our offensive line is still a work in progress, with 2 new starters it seems like they are still trying the gel. Our revamp defensive line seems to be coming a long, I will be interested to see if we can handed your zone blocking scheme, as it gave us the blues in preseason. The weakest part of our defense is easily our linebacking corps. Vilma is the heart of the defense, but he is undersized and still has trouble shedding blocks. One top of that he hasnt practiced this week with a knee injury. The rest of our LB's are very very mediocre, look for Jon Cassilas who plays Will lb to be blitzing a lot though, dude causes havoc in the back field. I guess the only real positive is we will be getting Will Smith back, who has looked better than ever prior to being suspended 2 games. Other than that, I think this will be one of the best games if not the best of Week 3. 2 high flying offenses and aggressive defenses facing off in the South. The Dome will be rocking. Obviously Im hoping for a Saints win but I wish you guys luck this season. You've always been the AFC team I root for every year. I think this is your year. You guys remind me a lot of my Saints in 09, after coming coming off a 7-9 and an 8-8 season, we hired Gregg Williams and revamped our defense to go with our already good offense, and we played lights out to reach the SB. Sky is the limit for you guys. How sweet would it be to face off again in Indy? Reply With Quote

This dude should have just posted "Hi guys, i'm looking for some Texan cock shoved up my arse. I'm bending over for you big guys."

While he's being overly nice, I agree with pretty much everything he said. Schaub is overlooked big time because they have no playoff record, but that's a team thing, not just QB. Texans O has looked good for a few years now. Their D is what held them back, and now that looks like they have a legit D... They're a good team.

If the Saints get after him like they did with soft & wet Cutler they should have the same results.

Overlook =/= say bad things. You don't hear many knocks against him, but you generally don't hear him talked about very much. He doesn't have playoff wins under his belt so people kind of forget about 'ol schaub until gameday.

This is what one of them had to say, "If the texans were playing at home they would have a chance, they are a good team. The dome is a tough place to play. The "WHO DATS" are loud."
Texans 27 - Saints 41.

Enough said for me
