If you think Jefferson gets indicted, push the just below the bottom of this post.

If you think Jefferson gets a no true bill, push the just below the bottom of the next post.*

Give your reasons if you'd like.

Personally, I think Jefferson gets indicted. The burden of proof is too low to not get indicted.

* If you think Jefferson gets a misdemeanor charge, don't vote for either. I have no idea how Miles would play that decision.

I'm betting he gets off. Here's a picture from the Grand Jury room:

Curious to learn, but seems it would be so... wouldn't ant testimony by JJ before a grand jury be admissable in court if he is indicted?

... although some would argue that those guys might indict him just to keep JL at the helm.

Think the case has enough evidence to go to trial.

I think he will likely plea the charges down before trial though.

No jail time, but will not play another snap for LSU.

This is where I am leaning.

I'm guessing no true bill. I haven't followed this very closely and I'm no expert - I just get the sense that Moore doesn't want to get an indictment for something if he can't win at trial. Therefore I think he will permit more defense testimony than would normally be the case before a grand jury.

Unfortunately true. Doubt at trial means acquittal. However, doubt at grand jury means it proceeds.

Unglesby will only plea it down if it allows Jefferson to return to LSU football. Otherwise, there's no reason to plea. He beats this thing easily at trial.

The biggest travesty of this whole sordid affair.

I think many people don't quite understand how a grand jury works.

There are plenty of people like that . . . even in this thread.
