Bottom line, I think the SEC is fine and should not

add Missouri.
If I'm Missouri, you might only get one chance to turn down the SEC, and that conference is still far from being stable. This is a decision you may regret 10 years from now.

Mizzou will get all the chances they want, just like A&M.

We need a 14th team if A&M is definite. The other options are WVU or $20 million for an ACC team. I've come to terms that it's geographically close enough and that they're a good enough fit. Kansas City + St. Louis ain't too shabby either.

Financially, Missouri would be a really good addition. Missouri is not really old south, but neither is Kentucky. West Virginia is nothing but a bunch of trashy, Yankee, SEIU-card-holding, dumbasses.
Best fit is in this order:
1. Virginia Tech (good school. Die-hard, but cool fans. In the south. Great TV markets, etc.)
2. Missouri (okay school. Pretty decent fans. Sorta the south. Huge TV market, better than VT.)
3. Clemson (good school. Hardcore fans. Defines the South. But nothing really to bolster TV).
4. Florida State (okay school. Drunk-arse insane fans. In the South. Already in the Florida TV market, which is huge. Can adding FSU make it better??)
5. Oklahoma (only, no Pokes)(Okay school. Pretty good fans. Is sort of the South. Would not bring in much of a TV market, but will solidify the Dallas market and some of KC.)
Other than VT and Misery, nobody else really makes a lot of sense. You would have to add a team from an already-occupied state to get a quality program, and that doesn't really help the TV market. The SEC could go Yankee and grab a West Virginia. If you're gonna do that, go for a big dog.

What doesn't make sense to me in your assessment of locations is that VT is as far north or farther than WVU, even if they (VT) are technically "Southern" there are parts of Virginia that are every bit as Yankee infested as Florida is (and if you don't know that, you don't know Florida).

Mizzou don't belong in the SEC, I mean I'd like it for MYSELF, that way I can see LSU football every other year in Columbia. But as far as for the best for Missouri and their fans, NO. BIG is a waaay better fit in terms of traveling, geographic fit, cold weather teams, etc.

Your hate for Unions is bordering on unhealthy, if that's your reasoning behind not wanting WVU's school in the SEC. I seriously would suggest you get some therapy.

Hell if anything he should want them in the SEC to beat up on them

I really believe when all the dust settles, Missouri will end up in the B1G. Maybe not next year, bit down the road.
