"For the SEC: Get ready to roll out the welcome mats (officially) for Texas A&M. The Big 12 sticking together means that Baylor and the other schools can relinquish their legal threats and allow the Aggies to proceed on their way East. It remains to be seen if they're going to pursue a 14th team but it seems as though Missouri is off the table - if they were in fact looking at the Tigers to fill that spot as reports had indicated."

I may be behind here but is the big12 officially sticking together? Ive heard chater but certainly nothing official.

Hard to imagine the Big 12 in it's current two-team state staying viable.

The Pac-12 just announced they have no intention of expanding, rejecting OU & OSU.
Texas is working behind the scenes to keep OU in the Big 12 for the next 5 years.

I agree, they have to find a decent team to replace aTm. That's going to be hard to do with Baylor pulling all of those shenanigans and LHN still causing problems.

Oh, that Im aware of. Not to be ridiculous but I have to think OU and tagalong to SEC is more probable than sticking with UT at this point. I doubt anyone wants UT unless there is some kind of profit sharing.

I actually agree with this. While I am for making the SEC a 16 team "super" conference, it sure seems like there is a whole bunch of renegging going on in the background with the Big XII. And it feels rushed like it has to be done right now.
Also, I would hate to lose our yearly game with Auburn.
