yes, I realize this isn't new, but I can't get over the fact that this could be reality a year from now:

LSU in the western division against

1. A&M
2. Mizzou
3. OU
4. Ok St
5. Arkansas
6. Ole Miss
7. Miss State

We lose our games against Bama and Auburn every year to play a bunch of Big XII teams 1000 miles away.

LSU fans (and the MS schools' fans) are the biggest loser in this whole scenario. Sure, the SEC becomes a super league with a bigger market, but imagine the new SEC and how it will change your Fall.

No more roadtrips to every game. It will no longer be affordable. We'll be on the outside of the core SEC teams in the East. I'll sure as hell miss the trips to Tuscaloosa or Auburn on an annual basis. As far as I'm concerned, it'll be us, MS schools, and 5 Arkansas Razorbacks.

A&M is fine. Mizzou is pushin it, but if we add Oklahoma schools and completely overhaul the SEC divisions, we'll be shafted as fans.

Then you better start hoping we raid the ACC.

ETA: And don't forget, you lose the UF game too.

Well OU and Okie State aren't coming to the SEC, so.

sucks, but I could live with that.

I recently moved to ATL, which I chose over Houston in part due to the proximity to LSU's away games. So much for that!
