What I've learned this week

I've learned that Texas joining the Pac 12 is imminent. I've also learned that Texas joining the Pac 12 is on hold regarding differences in how to handle the LHN.
I've learned that A&M is having second thoughts about leaving the Big 12. I've also learned that there is zero chance that A&M would ever go back to the Big 12.
I've learned that Texas President Bill Powers was given only the authority to decide that they will stay in the Big 12, but not the authority to leave. I've also learned that he was given the authority to decide whether to stay with the Big 12 or join another conference.
I've learned that the SEC has extended an invitation to Mizzou to be their 14th member. I've also learned that the SEC has extended no invitations other than to A&M.
They say that less is more. In this case I think that more (bloggers, twitterers, etc) is less.
On a more serious note, I've learned that anyone with cash (i.e. Boone Pickens and the Missouri booster) can go to a microphone and make "breaking news" just by pulling shite out of thin air. R.I.P. Fact checking.

My media brothers have been so disappointing these last few weeks...

I hear Mizzou has a great journalism school. Maybe they can give journalism in the SEC an accuracy boost.

Problem with twitter, People can post anything and boom "My sources say" with-in 15 mins. Until I see pressers it's all BS
