I'm sure there are better places, but when I lived there 6 years ago Helen Fitzgerald's in a Irish pub that we used to watch a lot of games at. Pretty lively crowd. I would also suggest driving out to Alton, IL and checking out Fast Eddie's.

So far I've been hearing about a few Irish pubs to check out. I've been to the fast eddies in lafayette and it's a pretty cool place.

Riverbend Restaurant by the brewery is owned by Sam Kogos who formerly owned Rendon Inn in New Orleans. They will have the game on and serve the best gumbo in town. There is usually a contingent of New Orleans natives there for any game.

Go to the hwy61 roadhouse, they have Cajun food, and lots of Louisiana stuff. The St.Louis alumni assc. Has the upstair reserved and the games on big screen tv. Look them up on facebook and you can get more info. Is a good time.

The Sports Zone had some talent when I lived there and they had big TV up front and it was also fun messing with the Mizzou fans.

Just bumpin for more recommendations... Particularly the downtown area.

As mentioned before, the LSU Alumni group in town gets together at the Hwy 61 Roadhouse. It isn't much of a rowdy crowd, but they serve hurricanes, Abita Beer, LA style food, and you have some fellow Tigers to watch the game with. I'll be there.

I just lived in downtown St. Louis for several months while I was conducting a trial. There was a decent sports bar there called The Over/Under. Nothing spectacular, but the best I could locate downtown.

We were recommended Hwy 61 by a girl we know here so we'll probably do that.

I used to go to Harpo's but it's a Mizzou bar, they only put the game on one TV for me since my cousin bartends there. I've been to Hwy 61, but didn't notice a lot of TVs. Johnny's will have some talent waitressing. Sportzone may be your best bet though. A lot of tvs and a lot of space.

The Over/Under
I liked going there before Rams games. I liked their Bloody Mary bar.

Highway 61 Roadhouse. The food is mediocre but that is where the STL LSU Alumni Association will be.

Geaux 2 1/2 hours west to Lebanon. Cold beer and gumbo!
