Coach Stud is a pretty accomplished OC in his own right.

Who cares. If the two guys are sitting side by side, wouldn't it make sense for them to work together?

On that note, much like the team on the field, I think we have an incredible team on the sidelines. And what's great about it is that, for various reasons, they aren't likely to go anywhere as long as they're taken care of. This isn't a Saban staff where you have talented coaches who put up with Saban's crap long enough to learn and move on.

if we're talking about that first drive, i wonder who called the FB dive on 2nd and goal.

I am sure there is a lot more to coordinating a offense then just calling plays. The game plan etc. I would think that by having 2 in the booth, one can focus on the opposing defense and give input on coverages ect.
