Is there any one particular bar that has been designated the "LSU" bar for Friday night in Morgantown? I'd rather keep from having to go bar hopping all night Friday night in search of a good place packed with LSU fans as I understand the campus is pretty spread out.

Sometimes the travel groups rent out a place or have a designated bar lined up or whatnot. Just wondering if this is the case up in Morgantown?

from the attempted lsu party in arlington i would advise against this. maybe it wont be as bad there wont be as many lsu fans as they had in texas

That may be your best option... LSU fans will be packing every place. There are too many of us to all be in one place.

When there are a ton of bars in the area, I've seen LSU people spread out everywhere. I'm not in to paying $5 cover charges at every bar up and down the street and/or taking taxi's everywhere. Plus from what I understand there are a couple of different bar type areas around (waterfront, downtown etc).

Friday night is all over the place. On Game Day, bunch o' Tigahs will 'table-gate' downtown Mo-town at Buffalo Wild Wings and catch the shuttle or something called the PRT out to the stadium.

I would hope most Tiger fans are better than that

I keep hearing you talk about this place. How would a group of about 15-20 tiger fans all decked out in Purple & Gold be received? Also is this the place you talked about bottle service? Goose me!!!

It is very chill, and WVU are good people, but this is a big game and I can't make any promises.. but I will be with all my WVU friends so I don't really have to worry about anything

This place and the sports page are my favorite in mo-town, sports page is a must before the game.

Where is fish bowl? and is that a friday night bar or saturday game day bar? Not really interested in Saturday unless it's a quick stop on the way to the stadium. Got saturday covered with RV parking lot.

I would definitely visit high street on friday. Just be careful because it will be highly student populated and our students can be jackasses, although I am one. If you want dinner before, I suggest the wharf district and downtown as well. Oliverios and the new brewing company by the water are really nice.
