you didn't answer the question as to how they aren't an "SEC caliber" school...
do you just read what you want to read? this has been discussed a zillion times.
FSU and all other ACC teams have a 20 million buyout.
better yet, FSU's OWN frickING PRESIDENT up'd the buyout.
FSU has zero intention of joining the SEC.
adding florida state wouldn't add to the SEC footprint.
there is already the florida gators, that own the state.

Buy out didn't stop A&M.
You guys think the SEC shopping list is the top 20 is isn't. It's about TV sets.
Navy despite DOC's laughing has a huge following. They just don't live near campus any more.
Navy wouldn't be my top choice, but if the buy outs stop schools like most are saying, The top schools Fla. St, NC, WF. etc are not coming.
Miami would add tv viewers but I don't want them.

20 million dollars is ONE YEARS payout in the sec, not a problem for fsu at all......
