0 catches. Best CB AJ will face all year. Avery has to work on being more physical against good Corners and learn how to release off of press coverage.

Alright...whatever you guys say, but the game was called
Early because it was storming.

Betcha he tries to make sure Tracy comes with him to LSU
It's a lot hard to have a good passing game when the game gets called due to the weather. Wasn't the game called at like halftime?

If he brings Howard with him, I'll do a backflip

Luckily he will only have to face him again in practice..

Avery had 2 catches the week before. I think the qb is the real problem

I'm not sure if it was half time, but I know it was raining all game. I tried to look for the link, but I did read the story in the Orlando sentinel. The paper also said, that he is down to us and Oklahoma( with us in the lead after the Oregon game) he said he will not make his final decision until signing day. I have confidence that he will commit to us in the end so no sweat. I hope FSU will knock off OU Saturday which will put LSU in better standing with Avery.

Another one of Maximus' insightful comments.
As for Tracy Howard, kid has some talent for sure...

Seems like they lead for everyone. I still can't believe they stole 3 of Alabama's top prospects away without much of a fight.

QB is struggling. None of the 4 passes gave Avery a chance and 2 of them were easy picks.

So the guy does nothing but torch the Black Mamba last year, to not being able to catch jump balls in the rain, and its a sign of just what? Whats this post supposed to be about?

This kid needs to quit joking himself going to OU... Seriously WTF is there to do in Norman, OK?

He is just spicing things up a bit. Im not worried at all. Nor am I worried that he didnt have any catches on the number 1 cornerback in HS football in the rain in two quarters of football with a terrible QB.

I'm pretty tuned in to recruitng both for LSU and national prospects but all this Oklahoma/Avery stuff is getting me.Where is all the doom and gloom on TSD coming from?I can't find anything that is public that would cause all this fear of losing Avery(a few of the comments basically have Avery already in the bank for the Sooners). Can someone please tell me where these "rumors" or "rumblings" are coming from? Thanks
