quote:it's a special channel for 3D... I have two 3D channels (Xfinity3D and ESPN3D), and I watch them probably 0.5% of the time... that 0.5% of the time I watch it this year will be when I watch the LSU-Miss State game and maybe the bowl games.
is there a special channel for 3d? or do u just need the broadcast to be in 3d,a 3d tv and the glasses? suddenlink had no clue when i asked them!!
The rest of the time, ESPN3D shows replays of other events it has aired (Winter X-games, Little League World Series, old soccer games, etc...). It is, though, showing each Thursday night football game and some Saturday night games live.
I don't think 3DTV is going to take off... it's pretty cool, but I'm not sure if enough people will think it's worth the money for the glasses and stuff. Maybe technology will make it better in the future.
Now, HBO3D On Demand is pretty cool... but the regular programming 3D channels are meh.
