$40 is well below the "marketing price point". The lots will be full and the party will go on. I can't think of a single person who would not pay 40 bucks to experience LSU.

Obviously not, as evidenced by the obscene amount of EMPTY premium parking spaces last weekend. It is a matter of simple market economics.

Neither can I, in fact I'm happy to pay over $500 for my season tickets, happier still to pay that same amount as a TAF Fee. But $240 extra to park for a whole season (a 24% upcharge from my current amount paid out to the university) WITHOUT even the benefit of a reserved spot and - in the words of Brewer & Shipley - that's just One toke over the line sweet Jesus...

Well the lots weren't full and it isn't just $40.
