Lee throws almost every pass off of his back foot, and mechanically that is not what you would want to teach someone, but he was very effective tonight. I am not sure why he does it, but it is working so far. If he continues to throw like this, we should be fine. I know it was NSU, but tonight was the best QB performance we have seen since 2007.

Also, it was nice to see Mett get some playing time and he looked very good. Hopefully Lee can stay healthy and embrace the competition from Mett. The future looks good for LSU, both in 2011 and 2012.

Lee doesnt wear a revolution helmet but Peyton Manning does

Until Lee wears a revolution helmet he will never be good.

Didn't do it nearly as much tonight. He had some very nice, mechanically sound throws.

when he's relaxed and keeps his feet under him, his mechanics are nearly perfect. He's got one of the most crisp motions I've seen.

Lee is capable

We are in great shape with Mett backing him up for now

no offense to you or JL... but he hops nearly every time he throws. He may have a quick release, but his footwork is not even close to being "nearly perfect".

But he had a great game tonight... I'm excited to see what we can do Thursday night.

Hey buddy, keep the amazing insight coming. Had no idea throwing off your back foot was mechanically flawed.

The point is that he has easily overcome what many people bash him for continuously on this board. His throws tonight were "catchable" and quite accurate most of the night, despite his "flaw".

yes, I did. And he hops even when he's not under pressure. Maybe during warmups he shows good footwork.

he throws them off his back foot and into the receivers hands. Chill people. Yes he could be better, but he has shown the ability to get the job done thus far.
