He was referencing throwing the ball more quickly to the receiver. Hit the receiver as he makes his cut. He pointed out several examples of where the receiver breaks free, then takes a few steps before the pass is thrown. It gave the defender time to adjust and get back into position.

He was NOT being "mean". He was pointing out things to be improved. It was not "JL SUCKS". It was "JL can improve here"
This is the correct answer/position/opinion. Let's all hope he continues his improvement and for those that think he's cleared the mountaintop, get your head out of your arse and watch the film....but he did a great job not turning the ball over. I hope he'll be great!

I can't stand that "Brett Favre" back pedal after Lee throws, so I'll give all of u that, but GB was faulting Lee for a swing pass that hit Ford in his hands in stride, but Ford tripped over his own feet. I replayed it about 5 times & finally came to the same conclusion as the OP who started this thread - GB isn't a big fan of JL. I was waiting for Lynn R. to ask GB where that throw should've been to be more "catchable" than it already was.

And JL had 2 other throws where Ford looked too late & DP19 barely got his head around on a big 3rd down pass. I concede there were some late throws, but others were timed well & the receivers were late looking. At least JL doesn't bounce pass balls to WR's like JJ did consistently
