SEC West
Mizz, TAM, Ark, Aub, LSU, Ole Miss, MSU, Bama
SEC East
FLa, WVA, UNC, KY, Tenn, Ga, USC, Vandy

this would be good for Football & Basketball.

The SEC would be in the St. Louis, Texas & Charlotte area

and you'd kill cross division rivals while creating a scenario where it takes 16 years to play home-and-homes with everyone in the conference

what's the point of one conference?

I havent been following super closely. Can someone explain why Va Tech has been dismissed and WVU been added as the most likely school to join from the East.

supposedly the Virginia legislature won't allow the split, and the schools affirmed commitment to the ACC

When the SEC had 10 teams we went more than 16 years betwen playing some schools and member schools often didn't even have a common number of conference games, things can change.
