4th qtr tiger fans were going crazy and he bowed to us and said and held up #1. Not that it matters but we just got a 1st place vote

Just watched it again. Brent wasn't nearly as bad as he was last year against UNC or V-Tech in 07. That was by far the worst I've ever heard. He was ok last night.

I think Brent is from Montana so I am sure he favors Boise St. and Oregon when it cones to these big games.

Yeah at 1st Herbie was pretty much all about Oregon and their offensive skill players. Then towards halftime he started getting all giddy about the DL for LSU. In the 2nd half you could tell he was very impressed with the D and started to praise the talent in the secondary.

Herbie is usually pretty favorable to LSU. I get that the Miles to Michigan debacle put him on our shite list, but he's usually one of the ones giving us loads of praise.

Pussberger came about 3 times last night talking about their freshman WR.

I watch the game(s) at Big Woodrows in Houston. Its not like i can hear what the talking heads are saying over the the hundreds of Tiger faithful yelling and screaming.

Honestly, he would have reacted the same way if that had been Odell Bechkam. Did you see how excited Musburger got when those 2 long passes were thrown to him.

I think for the most part Herb calls it how it is...

What I didn't like about Muffburger was that he showed all the distractions that LSU dealt with in the past few weeks with all the suspensions but never once aired Oregon's distractions.

I disagree. It's just last night there was no denying LSU had the better D and Team. He had no choice.

But this can't be because Herbstreit hates LSU.

One of my favorite parts was his commentary after Mingo chased down James from across the field:
