Same guy posted after the game...

Darn it, I really thought we were going to turn the corner and run up 100 points on LSU, until the REFS stole the game from us!

well Phil Steele always calculates Pac 10 team as having the toughest schedules so it must be so
They cite SEC teams scheduling playoff subdivision teams as to why the SEC has a "bye week". They don't realize that the 110 ranked team the PAC1 typically schedules poses NO MORE threat than a playoff subdivision team poses.

This thread needs to be either stickied or bumped so people getting back from the game can enjoy it too!

Nice but you missed the 2 posters that were predicting:
Oregon 59
LSU 7
Oregon 59
LSU 7

Us Tiger posters a little more accurate:
LSU 31-17. Oregon can't run the ball and is stunned that LSU defense line and lbers are so much better than Auburn's. (Everyone forgets how bad Auburns defense was last year since they won NC) This forces bad throws to the best secondary in all football which equals turnovers. I predict 3 or more for the ducks and 1 or less for LSU. LSU pounds the ball slow long drives, passes just enough. They are not faster than we, they are just smaller.
That said I expect a good game but I think turnovers will be the differnce. If the turnover ratio reverses and pick six returns then switch the score. The counter to a quick no huddle spread attack is a slow pounding offense.
Let me repeat, they are indeed SEC fast but they are not faster than we are, (just faster than the typical PAC 10 team). They are just smaller less physical. (Think UGA last year) We have had too long to get ready for this offense and Chavis is too good of a coach with too much talent.
75% chance of LSU win. The Jefferson plot not as big a distraction as everyone thinks.
Sorry I missed the final score a bit. (LOL)

The refs didn't steal the game. They were nervous and young so they messed up. I'd say that BS call on the unnecessary roughness hurt us by at least 4 points.

Most of their comments were fair and educated to be honest. Except that their DBs are the best in the country, where does that shite come from?

This thread should be required reading. Nice job LE.
Still trying to find the posts from the guy who kept comparing us to 2010 Tennessee...

someone should go post those quotes on Addicted to Quack or wherever that huddled, shivering, crap-stained mass of ducks has migrated back to.
a good quote from one of their own:
Sorry Ducks, yall just weren't ready to hang with the big boys.
a good quote from one of their own:
quote:
LaMichael once again is injured/ineffective/unproductive in a big game. Chip Kelly's system once again struggles against good teams. Oregon is very young and this was a learning experience. I was right, our WRs were the problem and not the O-line.
Sorry Ducks, yall just weren't ready to hang with the big boys.
